    The new Saltist LD Lever Drag series are built tough with a rugged full metal jacket construction - virtually all components are metal for maximum reliability. Building on the reputation of the previous Saltist overhead reels the new LDs are built to handle ultra-strong braided lines in addition to traditional monofilament. To eliminate body flex the frame and side plates are all constructed of a single piece rigid aluminum alloy. Capable of pulling in over a meter of line with every handle turn, winding power is actually up to 30% greater than similar reels.
