We’re pleased to share that the GetGenuine Rewards programme is now part of SmartTrade. All former GetGenuine members are now part of the SmartTrade Rewards programme – combining everything you love into one bigger, better rewards experience, with even more ways to earn points.

A brief overview:

  • GetGenuine and SmartTrade are both trade-based coalition rewards programmes delivered by Smart Loyalty
  • You don’t need to sign up – if you were part of the GetGenuine programme, you’re now automatically a member of SmartTrade
  • Your points are safe and have been carried over to your SmartTrade account
  • All GetGenuine suppliers have transitioned to SmartTrade, so GetGenuine members are still connected to the same trusted brands you’ve been earning from
  • SmartTrade offers even more ways to earn, with an expanded network of suppliers across multiple industries

Keep enjoying all the benefits you know and love: 

  • Continue to earn points on eligible genuine parts purchases, workshop essentials, paint, fuel, power, office supplies and more
  • Redeem points for the same great rewards on the Rewards Shop
  • Use your points to get virtually anything you want with our Dream Rewards service
  • Receive regular programme communications, points updates, promotions and offers – now from SmartTrade
  • Continue to enjoy exclusive discounts from leading NZ retailers via the My Rewards app
  • Log in as usual using your existing details via the My Rewards app, rewards-shop.co.nz, or smart-trade.co.nz

The SmartTrade and GetGenuine programmes are both brought to you by Smart Loyalty – we’ve merged the two programmes together to improve your experience and to deliver even more value to our members.  

Many GetGenuine members were already part of both  programmes, so this change helps streamline the journey and make it even easier to earn and redeem rewards. 

Your GetGenuine reward points have been safely transferred to your SmartTrade account. You won’t lose a thing – your points are still yours to use, and you can redeem them as usual through the Rewards Shop or via the Dream Rewards service. 

There’s no need to create a new account. If you were part of the GetGenuine programme, your account has been automatically moved to SmartTrade.

Simply log into smart-trade.co.nz, rewards-shop.co.nz or the My Rewards app with your existing details to access your account.

Yes! You can continue earning points on all eligible genuine parts and products you purchased through GetGenuine suppliers. Plus, with SmartTrade, you now have the opportunity to earn points on an even wider range of products from more suppliers. 

During the transition to SmartTrade, you may temporarily see two newsfeeds in the My Rewards app. This is because you are connected to earn points from SmartTrade suppliers and also suppliers that were previously part of GetGenuine. Over time, these will be consolidated into a single, streamlined feed. 

The GetGenuine app has been replaced with the My Rewards app – this was already in place prior to the transition to SmarTrade. The GetGenuine and SmartTrade programme apps are no longer getting updated, you can access everything you need on the My Rewards app.
